During Dr. Wazny's initial visit with his patients, he discusses treatment options with them and together he and the patient collectively define a wellness plan. Because naturopathic medicine treats the whole person, Dr. Wazny learns as much as possible about his patients to get to the root cause of what bothers them. Many times symptoms are signals of more deep-lying disease and true health only comes with removal of this obstacle to cure.

Not traditionally. We give our patients all the necessary paperwork to file with their insurance company on their own and most are reimbursed through "out-of-network" benefits. This helps keep costs low for our patients as well as insure high quality care.

As a Naturopathic Medical Doctor, Dr. Wazny's training and experience have demonstrated the tremendous effectiveness natural medicine can have for most medical conditions. However, there are specific instances when pharmaceutical medications are necessary and he does prescribe drugs for patients with such needs.

In addition to natural pain management, diabetes and gastrointestinal disease, Dr. Wazny specializes in treating children. In fact, children can benefit the most from the basic principles of naturopathic medicine.

Initial consultations for adults are $225 and follow-up visits range between $75 and $120.
Initial consultations for children are $225 and follow-up visits range between $75 and $120.

Dr. Wazny typically spends 90 minutes with each new patient during the initial consultation and depending upon the complexity, anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour for follow-up visits.
